High-tech innovation drives quality growth in Xinhua imaging industry

Xin Printing Caire New Materials Co., Ltd., specializes in the production of toner and carriers. The company’s Phase I project is scheduled to enter trial operations by the end of June. Once at full capacity, the facility is projected to produce 6,000 tons of toner annually, generating an output value of 270 million yuan.

Caire Image Technology Co., Ltd., established in June 2021 as the successor to Shenzhen Clord Printing Consumables Co., Ltd., focuses on the R&D, production, and sale of OPC Drums—core components in printing devices. The company holds 32 national patents and has recruited several South Korean experts with proprietary technologies to enhance its technical capabilities.

“Our products stand out in three key areas,” said Xiao Wenyi, General Manager of Xin Printing Caire. “First, our energy consumption is only 5% of industry averages. Second, we offer the most comprehensive product range, from A4 printers to A0 engineering plotter OPC Drums. Third, our products have achieved a print life cycle of 2 million pages, far surpassing the MIIT’s benchmark of 30,000 pages.”

Currently, two OPC Drum production lines for photocopiers and blueprint machines, and seven lines for printers are operational. The company is also completing the installation and debugging of two additional lines acquired from South Korea’s Shindoo Ricoh. Upon full operation, the combined annual production capacity will reach 4 million OPC Drums for photocopiers and 12 million for printers, with a projected annual output value of 440 million yuan and tax contributions of 39.6 million yuan.

The global OPC drum market is valued at over 30billion,while domestic sales in China surpass 12 billion annually. As one of only 11 global-scale OPC Drum manufacturers, Caire’s triple technical advantages position it strongly in both domestic and international markets. Its presence is expected to catalyze the return of xerography remanufacturing businesses to Xinhua, further enhancing the region’s industrial competitiveness.

“Relocating from Shenzhen to Xinhua was driven by the county’s imaging industry potential,” Xiao noted. “We aim to collaborate with Xin Printing Tech in building a complete industrial chain to advance regional development.”
